Friday we had bought this chemical fluid to remove the floorcovering glue on the stairs.. I didn’t know how to use it, so I read the manual on the packing “spread the content of this can very good on the surface that you want to remove the floorcovering glue and let it soak in for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes grab a filling-knife and you can take the floorcovering glue off!” Well, when I read this I thought this “wonder fluid” which could help me.. NOT!! That damn thing didn’t work.. It was a mission impossible to take the glue off with this fluid of ? 25!! So far for my plan A..
Plan B was to try the take the glue off with water! At first we didn’t think that water could do the trick.. but after spreading some water on the stairs we noticed that water COULD do the trick! So we went on with plan B which took me almost 4 hours!! :S Anyway after spending 4 hours on the damn stairs the glue is almost gone, just one more day and the stairs will be clean again..
So far about the stairs.. Today we (actually Jannie! :p) also worked at the living room degreasing and sanding the windows frame.. This is necessary becauze we want to paint them in a another colour..

I don’t know what we should do tomorrow.. but I know that tomorrow we can start with fillings the wholes in the walls and after that we might begin with painting the walls and the roof.. but we will see… Right now, I’m going to grab myself a nice cold beeer! Cheeers!
