Damn.. Such a fine day! As I wrote some days ago Jannie had a big suprise for me. Jannie wanted to take me to Amsterdam, as a part of my birthday present, and she didn’t tell me what we were going to do till Saterdaymorning. Cauze then she wook me up with a cake with a candle on it & tea. She had this huge birthday card, in this she explained what we’re going to do!!

We left at 11 am to Amsterdamn. The first suprise was Madame Tussauds. I never been to Madame Tussauds before and that was something that I always wanted to do but I never had the time to visit it! Anyway.. It was greaat! Some of the wax mirror images looked sooo real and some of them were just made bad. At Madame Tussauds they have this “new” attraction called: “Pirates of the Caribbean“. It was a “scary” attraction. You walked below the deck of the Black Pearl, and you could feel & hear beating heart of Davy Jones. There were some (living) actors and that made it were fun!!

After that we went shopping in Amsterdamn. After some time spending in different shops we decided to go to drink something in some bar.
When we were done we went to “Rederij Plas”. It’s a boat trip through the havens of Amsterdam! I had done such boat trips in the past, but I still liked it! The boat trip took about 1 hour. When the boat trip was over we headed to the restaurant called El Torado. Jannie had made a reservation for a table for 2. The restaurant looked fancy and the food was great! After that we had that delicious meal we went back to the station. Cauze we had to take a ferryboat to Amsterdam-North. Jannie had also booked a performence of Rent played by students who studied “musical eduction”. Anyway it was a great performance!

After the musical was finished we headed back to the station and took the train back to Eindhoven. At the end our feet were killing us and about 2 am we’re finally home and we could go to sleep and spare some energy for the Beekse Bergen!!

So it was a Amster-DAMN day! (That’s because I’ve had a fun time! )
