Instead of the year-plus barrier that separated the first two films, Spider-Man 3 takes place almost immediately after the events of the second film.

At the end of Spider-Man 2, Harry (James Franco) finds out the truth behind Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) namely that Peter is Spider-Man. Harry thinks that Spider-Man killed his father and by now he isn’t wasting any time trying to take down Peter to revenge his father. In the meantime, Peter is still together with Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst), and his alter-ego is now an icon of a hero to millions. Mary Jane, however, is struggling as an actress after receiving very bad reviews for her performance in a new musical, and has troubles relating to Peter’s newfound confidence.

In another part of the city, a convict called Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church) escapes and when trying to evade capturing by the police he lands in the middle of a science experiment. He began to transforming into a monster which will called Sandman. With this a new enemy for Spider-Man is born and Peter wants to take him down, especially when he finds out that Marko is in fact the one who killed Uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson).
In the meantime, a mysterious creepy-crawly creature that feeds off negative energy finds Peter during a moment of weakness and attaches itself to him, sending both Peter and Spider-Man into a dark and dangerous spiral of revenge and violence.

In a conversation with his butler, Harry finds out that Peter didn’t kill his father at all and is now determined to help Peter in a fight between good and evil.

I recommand a view, but ONLY when you have seen the first two films. I tried to like it, I really did, but I coudln’t!
