Knocked Up

Knocked Up.. A really funny movie!! Knocked Up is about Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) An up coming entertainment journalist and Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) a big loser who likes to be high all day long and actually a big kid!
When Alison is celebrating the fact that she’s got promotion she meet Ben in a club. From then on her life gets seriously derailed when she is drunk enough to take Ben home and into bed! Eight weeks later she’s getting sick and pregnancy test after pregnancy test confirms her worst fear: She’s pregnant. She decides to tell Ben Knocked her up and give him a chance to be a good father, and Ben finds out that he has a big decision to make: Will he hit the road or stay in the picture to raise the child! As they discover more about each other, it becomes obviously that they’re not the soul mates they’d hoped they might be. But things get even more confusing with Alison’s harried sister Debbie and her husband Pete as the only parenting role models the young lovers have. So the big question will remain: Should they raise the baby together? So that left them with nine confusing months to figure that out! :wink:

Knocked Up is a very cool and funny movie to watch. From the title I expected an idiot teen comedy, but it was quite a grown up comedy. The sex and nudity doses in this movie is more than any other comedies, but it just make the comedy more real and funnier!! It contains a lot of good quotes, like this one:

  • Sadie (Debbie and Pete’s child) : Where do babies come from?
  • Debbie: Where do you think they come from?
  • Sadie(Debbie and Pete’s child) : Well. I think a stork, he umm, he drops it down and then, and then, a hole goes in your body and there’s blood everywhere, coming out of your head and then you push your belly button and then your button falls off and then you hold your butt and you have to dig and you find the little baby.
  • Debbie: That’s exactly right.

Knocked Up is a very simple story made into a very entertaining comedy, So definitely worth watching!! :wink:
