Forget the glitzy restaurants of New York and London: only in Zimbabwe would a hamburger actually cost millions of dollars.
The central bank of the southern African country has a issued a 10million Zimbabwe dollar note. The move increases the denomination of the nation’s highest bank note more than tenfold.Even so, a hamburger in an ordinary cafe in Zimbabwe costs 15 million Zimbabwe dollars.
This is how a ten million dollar note looks like:

And this is what you need to buy bread in Zimbabwe!

One million and Five million dollar notes are also available. Well Zimbabwe could be now crowded with modern millionaires. The ten million dollar note is worth £2 or 4 US dollars!
Zimbabwe faces the world’s highest official inflation rate for an estimated to 25,000 per cent. Independent financial institution says real inflation is closer to 150,000 per cent. The new note is valid only from January 1 to June 30 this year.

I hope that there will be an end to this crisis, But as long nobody cares (not even the world leaders!) and don’t do anything about it, the crisis will continue!

Omg, 10 million dollar only = 4 USDollars!!! The 150,000 percent inflation also scared me as well. At Malaysia, it’s about 2.5% only… It must be hard to live at Zimbabwe, my friend.
