Did you know that you can change the name of the registered owner in XP in some very easy steps? How? By using the registry!

Click Start
Go to Run
Type regedit to open the registry editor.
Browse to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

In the right details pane, double click the value RegisteredOwner.
In the value data field, type in the name you want to use and click OK.
You can change the company name, if any, in the same way by editing the value RegisteredOrganization.

Windows XP is by default displaying the list of unread email on the windows welcome screen, but for some is this unread email notification irritating (like me!) and they don’t want to display it on the welcome screen. I don’t know about you, but every time a program crashes you get this stupid Microsoft box which ask you to send a report to Microsoft. Well, I don’t like, and luckily there’s a way to disable it!

Right click on This Computer
Go to Properties
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the error reporting button on the bottom of the windows.
Select Disable error reporting.
Click OK
Click OK
Your Done!
