Longest City Name: 163 Letters

Have you even heard of “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch“??? Well, I thought so! This is actually a village name, NO I’m not kidding!! This is the name of a small village on the island of Anglesey in Wales! It’s also spelt Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll and commonly known as Llanfair PG or Llanfairpwll!

If you think that this is the longest village/city name in the world, then you’re wrong!! The village mention above is good for the third place in the list of the longest village/city name in the world! Here below you can see the list…

1. With 163 letters: “Krungthepmahanakornamornratanakosinmahintarayutthayamahadilokph
opnopparatrajathaniburiromudomrajaniwesmahasatharnamornphimarnav
atarnsathitsakkattiyavisanukamprasit” Or better knows as Bangkok!

2. With 92 letters: “Tetaumatawhakatangihangakoauaotamateaurehaeaturipukapihimaungaho

3. And as said above, With 58 letters: “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch”
