The Lazy Life Of Gizmo

Posted By: BioTecK on Friday 2 May 2008 with 12 Comments

Until last year I never wanted to have a pet but Jannie, which always had pets in her life, wanted to have a cat. So after a while she convinced me to buy a kitten. In the beginning I was afraid that the kitten would destroy everything such as our furniture! But it never happened!
These days I love Gizmo! It’s a very funny and sweet cat! He can do a lot of crazy things! He can “speak” to you (he always says Hello!), he likes to play with a ball made of aluminium foil and much more… But he’s also very lazy and like most of the cats he likes to sleep a lot. So yesterday when I entred the room I saw him sleeping with his cuddle and that looked pretty sweet!

Sometimes he likes to get a lot of attention and he acts like a “photo model”.. Like the picture below…

So here I’m a person who didn’t wanted to have any pets in the house and now I can’t wait to get a puppy!

Seeing the first picture I thought: Chica? But then I realized she doesn’t have such a stuffed animal :)

And your description of Gizmo sounds like our cats also, playing with aluminum foil balls, talking (Pumuckl is very talkative). I think they would go along well ;)

Yeah.. I know how big Berner Sennen get, and I love big dogs. Especially Berner Sennen! I have read a lot about there characters and they are awesome. About the hairs, well.. It doesn’t matter!

    Tina:
That’s true. They do house train easy, just show them where they can eat and piss and they will never forget it! :)

I like them both.. I already have a cat so a dog would be the next step!

Not only do they make good friends they reduce stress and pet owners live a longer happier life. If you have a good pet they can make your life more enjoyable. I had a dog that my neighbor would pick up when i was not around and take him to the park to play frisbee. The dog was more popular than me.

That’s right.. Some time ago I read an article about that too, but before that I didn’t realize that pets could reduce stress Bob..

What a beautiful cat. No wonder you fell in love with it. My husband was the same at the beginning when I told him I wanted a cat and now he gives him more cuddles than me ha! My cat talks a lot too so we have called him Chatty.
