I stumbled across TimeTicker which displays the exact time of the world in the different time zones. It’s great when you want to call someone who doesn’t live in the same country as you do. This way you’re sure that you don’t wake anybody up!

Anyway It works really simple. Click anywhere on the world map and TimeTicker will display the current time on that time zone OR you can use the right table below the world map where you can find a complete list of countries which you can select and view the current time of the selected country.

PS: Make sure to click on “Mute Ticking” before you get crazy from the ticking sound!

EDIT: Danny came up with anoter good resource for world time. The Free World Clock.com enables you to save your cities and come back to them at any time.

Great utility there!

I work at a HelpDesk supporting Canada, Latin America and Caribbean, so this helps me greatly when I have to return calls to different time zones. I’m always running into issues with this.

Cheers,

It made me remember the scamming the scammers sites we visited lately… the scammer of scammers called the scammer purposedly during sleeping hours…it was really good… ^_^

Just a related idea… ^_^
