Here’s a funny anti Mac commercial and I love it. In the past I’ve used Mac at school but back then I was forced to work with it. So I was really glad when my school (with educations such as: Graphic design, Multi-media design and more) decided to sell ALL the mac’s and get PC’s instead, yes a great choice!!

Haha, that ad is hilarious.

I use both operating systems extensively, and I can honestly say that I prefer Mac OS X over Windows - but it just doesn’t have some of the software I need.

I also dislike the cost of Mac hardware versus PC hardware.

Thanks for posting that, made me laugh.

Cheers,

Here in South Africa Mac is not big. If you want one, you must know that it will cost you an arm and a leg. As I have never used Mac before I cannot compare the two. I do know that many of my American friends swear by Mac. Isn’t it just six of the one, a half-dozen of the other.

2 Sean:
The cost of Mac is very high indeed. One other thing is that you can’t upgrade the hardware parts.
Beside that there are far more software (and freeware) for PC then for Mac.

2 Sailor:
So your from South Africa.. Didn’t knew that. Well, I swear by PC’s. I’ve worked with it for about a year on school and there are some difference. Some thing which I didn’t like was that the Mac haven’t a right mouse click! :s That’s very annoying when you’re used to use it on a PC!

I was always of the opinion it wasn’t the hard ware but the software. This all change the day i went to work at software company that used Mac extensively.
They gave me a brand new pc and a few year mac side by side on my desk. I hate to say it but the Macs won me over. Currently I use both PC and Mac.
CAD software is the main reason I must use the PC. However my next laptop will be a mac and running parallels I will run Windoze. I have seen this set up in action and it actually runs the windows CAD software better than on a native pc.
I guess you get what you pay for.

I hope when I get a job I don’t have to work on a Mac! :p That would be a reason to quit the job. No just kidding.. :p

Running Windows on a Mac laptop? Really? A classmate had tried to run Windows on a Mac laptop but didn’t got it working.

I still prefer PC due the fact of the amount of software for it and the possibility to change everything when ever I need it like an extra hard disk, a new graphic card etc. This reminds me that I’m running short on my RAM!
