Today I found a very interesting thing.. You can actually watch the Star Wars movie in DOS. Yeah, all doted!  I don’t know if this works on Windows Vista, cause I still use Windows XP. Anyway here’s the “secret”:

  • Go to Start
  • Click Run
  • Type: Telnet
  • In the DOS window type the letter o
  • Then type: towel.blinkenlights.nl
  • Press Enter

Like I said, I don’t know if this works in Vista, but if you run Vista please run this and let me know if this works on Vista or not!

Now, enjoy the (dotted!) Star Wars movie!

Edit: mommyandmeboutique was so kind to leave a comment and she told me that this also works on Windows Vista. Thnx mommyandmeboutique! :D

Thank you; that is so neat…. I have vista on my new computer and it worked great. Would you mind if I put just the simple statement on how to do this on my blog? Most of the people reading my blog are novice on the computer as am I. I will give you full credit and of course a link back to your site. I will wait for your permission, and of course if you prefer my not posting it I certainly understand.
