Do you want to test your internet connection speed fast? In case you want to you can try Speedtest.net.
SpeedTest.net is a broadband connection analysis tool with a huge selection of geographically dispersed testing servers.

Speedtest.net measures the performance of your broadband connection. At the end of each test, you are presented with the download (the speed of data from the server to your computer) and upload (the speed of sending data from your computer to the server) bandwidth speeds. The tests are performed completely within your web browser over HTTP (just like normal web browsing).

Here below you can see my results:

Most people never get the speed that is advertised. It depends on how far you are from main line and how good of connection you have even in your own home. It is fun to see what speed you are getting i even like to try freinds computer and see the differences.

Yeah, that’s right bob.. In my case.. I’m lucky cause the distance between the main line and our house is just a couple of meters!
PS: I’ve upgraded my internet connection speed… So I guess I’ve to change the picture!
