I love Notepad. You can use if for a lot of things but did you knew that you can use Notepad as a simple digital diary?
To use Notepad as a digital diary, follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Notepad and type .LOG and press enter.
  2. Save the file and name it what ever you want.
  3. Now open the file again in Notepad. You’ll see that the current date and time is inserted automatically after the .LOG line.
  4. Now each time you open the file, Notepad repeat the process and the current date and time will be inserted automatically. This way all you have to do is place the cursor below the date and time tag and write in your digital diary!

Note: if you want to insert the current date and time while writing press F5.
