Today I found a great extension for Firefox and it’s called: All-in-One Sidebar. All-in-One Sidebar adds a sidebar to your Firefox and it provides you easy access to all your panels such as downloads, extensions, history and your bookmarks. It even enables you to view source or websites in the sidebar. All-in-One Sidebar includes a slide-out button and a toolbar which is easy customized; You can set the toolbar to left or right, set the minimum, default and maximum width and the behavior on browser startup.

I have just installed this and I already love it! It is very easy to use and it doesn’t need that much space. I have customized it and made sure that the toolbar is only 6 1px wide. How am I going to see it? Easy: NOT! I love shortcuts and All-in-One sidebar has some handy keyboard shortcuts which you can change if you want too! So I don’t have to see the toolbar, I just use the shortcuts instead, Much easier and faster for me!

  • F4 - open or close the sidebar
  • Ctrl+Shift+F4 - open or close the options dialog
  • Ctrl+Shift+E - open or close the Extensions
  • Ctrl+Shift+T - open or close the Themes
  • Ctrl+Shift+P - open or close the Page Info
  • Ctrl+Shift+J - open or close the Error Console
  • Ctrl+Shift+M - open or close the MultiPanel
  • Ctrl+Shift+Y - open sidebar in a new tab
  • Ctrl+Shift+X - open tab in sidebar

Anyway, It’s a great extension which IS really handy and easy to use. Give it a try!

Yeah it is a great add-on Nishadha.

I have Firefox 3.0.1 installed and I can tell you this Chetan Gole: it really WORKS! I have checked it out and that’s why I wanted to share this info! If you only had checked the publishers website then you had probably seen that this works for Firefox 2.0 - 3.0.*! Give it a try, it WILL work!

No problem Van! I had it installed for about 2 minutes and I start loving it! It makes things very easy!

Yeah, I read on your blog that you had uninstalled Firefox Chetan Gole.. I found it odd that you had bad experienced with ff3. I’m using Firefox 3 ever since it came out and never had any troubels with it, maybe there’s something else causing problems! ;)
Anyway, good luck with it! :)
