Use Google To Quickly Convert Currencies

Google…Everybody knows it and you can use Google for a lot of of things. Things like: finding mp3’s, video’s, e-books, as a calculator, as a dictionary, Google Reader for the RSS feeds of your favorite blogs, Gmail for your e-mail and off course last but not least as a search engine. BUT did you know that you can use Google to quickly convert currencies?? Well, I didn’t till I found this great tip on Achmad Z’s Archives! :razz:

So if you want to know how much 250 Euro’s is in US dollars you just type:

250 EUR in USD

And Google will tell you how much that is in US dollars, namely: $ 389.95 just like the screenshot here below.

    Very quick and another handy use for Google. This beats finding the current exchange rate and having to pull out a calculator, thanks!

    I use google for lots of things, but I didn’t realize they were able to convert currencies. I usually use other sites for currency conversion especially when I need to travel overseas.
    I have used google also to convert measurements for eg: grams to kilograms, etc…

    Man, I wait for the day when we would be able to write “One double cheese with fries and a large soda”, and the google delivery guy would ring at your door. He wouldn’t even need you to give him the adress. He has Google Maps.

    I wasn’t aware about this. Thanks for the heads up. I often use a calculator to covert currencies. Not I will use Google for sure.

    I thought so Nicole! I mean you travel a lot and you always have internet connection so it’s much easier for you! :smile:
    60 KM? :shock: That’s unfair Nicole! No to make you jalouse, but there are 4 McDonald’s in a short distance from our house! :wink:

    Forget about your calculator Hye Munar, you might just even throw it away. :razz: I mean you can use Google for almost everything! :mrgreen:

    Maybe that’s why Google is so big and almost the default search engine for a lot of people Jonathan: You can use Google for a lot of things; 1 place and a lot of possibilities! ;)
