El Gouna… Here We Come

Finally! Holiday! :mrgreen: This will be my last post before I go on holiday to El Gouna. Tomorrow Jannie and me will leave our house about 8 o’clock in the morning to catch our flight from Schiphol (Amsterdam) to Hurghada (Egypt). Our plane will take off about 12:40 and the flight is going to take about 6 (LONG) hours. Fortunately I’ll take my phone with me which can also act as a 1 GB mp3 player so I wouldn’t get bored during the flight. Jannie will get my old mp3 player in case she wants to listen to other music. I also hope that they have some good movies too in the plane, the last time we saw “Music & Lyrics” and “Wild Hogs” which weren’t such a good movies in our flight to Kos (Greece).

This is going to be a special holiday for me. Why!? Some time ago I wrote a post named: Nice Diner & A Nice Movie and in that post I wrote that Jannie and me want to get married some were next year. The thing here is that I haven’t asked her yet.
So as we’re going on holiday and as I’ve bought a ring I’ll ask her when we’re in Egypt. Jannie usually doesn’t read my blog so lets hope she doesn’t do it today or tomorrow morning before we leave otherwise it would ruin my plans! So I have to make sure that she doesn’t get too close to the computer from now on till tomorrow! :razz:

Anyway, I’ve checked the weather and it’s HOT! It’ll be around 36 degrees against the horrible 15 degrees and raining weather now in The Netherlands. :mrgreen:

Like always, I’ll take my camera with me so when I get back you can expect a lot of pictures! :wink: In the mean time: Take care and see you again when I’m back! :wink:

    Enjoy your holiday. I cannot wait to see your photos when you return because I have never been to the part of the world you are visiting. Good luck on that proposal.

    Good luck! But I am pretty sure she will say yes.

    Here’s a tip: Ask at the beginning of the trip.

    My husband proposed when were in Hawaii two years ago. At the time we have been going out for a few years and I was expecting him to propose during the trip. We got there Saturday. By Wednesday I was in a foul mood because he still did not say anything. Now thinking back, I can see the poor man was trying to find the “right moment.” All Wednesday, he was suggesting things like a walk on the beach, watching the sunset, dinner, etc. But I was in such a bad mood, that I did not want anything to do with romantic. So finally he popped the question at the parking lot as we were on the way up to the hotel because he said: “I know I am not going to get to sleep on the bed if I do not ask,…” Yeah, I blew his “right moment” dilemma out of the water. :mrgreen:
