Apparently Google is currently updating the Pageranks of websites again. Like usual there will be websites which will go up and some will go down in the rankings. For BioTecK.net this means that it went up with this update! So I went from PR2 to PR3!

As you probably have read, I have upgraded my computer to Vista Home Premium and so far so good. Vista has a lot of new features, some of them are very handy and some of them need to be shutdown. Today I came across a very funny add-on for FireFox called Colorful Tabs. Well, Like the names already assumes, it colors every FireFox tabs in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish! See a screenshot of my FireFox tabs here below.
ColorfulTabs doesn’t only color every tab in a different color and has some more features:

Windows Vista has a lot of new security feature. After installing Windows Vista on my computer one of the first things I did was turning some of these new features off. One of these new features is Windows Defender. Windows Defender, better known as Microsoft AntiSpyware, is a software product from Microsoft to prevent, remove and quarantine spyware in Windows. Windows Defender is included and enabled by default in Windows Vista.

As I wrote yesterday something bad happened to me. I had accidentally deleted ALL my images an my video’s and then even emptied my recycle bin without being careful! I know.. it’s stupid! I mean how did I manage to make a mistake like this? I mean deleting almost 10 GB’s of stuff!
Anyway.. When I found out about this I was really pissed, I mean REALLY pissed. I knew that I had a backup of my images but that was more then 6 months old but …
