As you might know I’m a big Metallica fan and just a month ago they released a new album called “Death Magnetic”. You can find a review here…
With releasing a new CD comes a world tour, so Metallica had planned a concert in Ahoy Rotterdam on 30th March 2009. Unfortunately I was a bit late with ordering the tickets. I mean the whole concert was totally sold out within 30 minutes, so I’ve read on internet, so no Death Magnetic concert for me!

Imagine this: you’re searching for some information on Google. As you know Google also shows PDF documents in the search results and you click on one of those links. This means that your browser automatically will open the pdf file. Personally I don’t like that. I want to be prompted before the browser opens the pdf file and having the choice to open the pdf file or download the file.

When setting up a new wordpress blog, most people pay more attention to the design of there blog; Editing the CSS file, thinking about how to arrange the sidebar, placing adsense codes on the blog, signing for a Feedburner account and placing the Feedcount somewhere in the sidebar along with a RSS icon.
However people seem to forget to update the feed links in the header section of the blog. The feed link in the header section is used by the autodiscovery feature on most browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer.

If you’re using Windows Vista then you have probably noticed the quick power button on the start menu is used to put the computer into Sleep Mode by default. So by clicking it your computer doesn’t really turn off but it goes into Sleep Mode.
Sleep Mode is like pausing a dvd player: The computer immediately stop what it’s doing and is ready to start again when you want to resume working. So the computer saves all open documents and programs and allows the computer to quickly resume full-power operation within seconds.

Some time ago when I had my doubt about switching my OS from XP to Vista, I wrote a post called :To Vista Or Not To Vista. Axioblogger from Axioblog left me a message and he told me this:
“Vista is cool. I like it well maybe I don’t use a lot of programs just the basic programs. The only thing is that vista uses a lot of battery power if you are using it on a laptop.”
