Frank The Black Sheep: Born To Be Cheap!

Posted By: Saturday 15 November 2008 11 Comments

During the last couple of days I saw this mysterious “black sheep”, as shown as below, everywhere! The mysterious sheep was shown in several newspapers, banners, billboards etc all over Holland. Back then I didn’t knew what it was just till tonight.. Tonight I saw a commercial of the Black sheep and it became all clearly!

The black sheep, better known as Frank, is the main figure of the Tele2 newest campaign which is a very funny commercial. Watch it yourself! :wink:

    A well thought out ad. I love the ‘born to be cheap’ slogan.

    Here locally we have a very unhealthy situation in the telecoms industry. We basically have a single state controlled company who call all the shots. These local guys should have the slogan ‘born to be useless’.

    Yep – really funny one !!
    Didn’t hear of it yet…. – but now I am warned.

    Wiki thing I learned in a Dutch open air museum;
    years and years (couple of hundreds) ago; ALL the cheep where black…. and sometimes one or two would turn out “white”…. Because they could use the white wool better, they started to breed with the white ones…. and now-a-days the black sheep are the unique ones…
