Finally.. WEEKEND!!
After a week of working hard at the office, not being able to sleep very well and arranging everything for our wedding  it’s time to relax and enjoy the weekend! So you can see that I’m glad it’s weekend again and I can catch up some sleep and spend some time with Jannie.  However, on the other hand, it’s not going to be a “laid back” weekend and in fact it’s going to be a very busy weekend!

What do you think about the default Vista’s bootscreen? It’s not really spectacular at all and it’s boring.  I mean..It just shows a loading bar and the Microsoft Corporation copyright on a “beautiful” black screen. Cool isn’t it? Nope, you got that right!
You can make your Vista even cooler with a hidden bootscreen called Aurora. I don’t know why this bootscreen isn’t active by default, cause this one looks much better then the default one.
To enable the hidden bootscreen in Vista, follow the steps here below:

The index service scans through files and folders on your system, whether you’re using XP or Vista, and records information about them in index files in order to speed out the searching speed. If you’re a Windows Vista user then you’ve probably noticed that Windows Vista uses large icons, even in the Start menu. Some people, like me, don’t like to use large icons all the time, for example in the Start menu. Changing this setting is very easy, just follow the steps!

Right click on the Start button
Select Properties
Click the Customize button
Scroll down till you see a check box “Use large Icons”
Uncheck the checkbox
Click OK and Apply and OK.
You’re done! This looks much better, isn’t it?

Did you know that you can multiple clocks in Vista? Well, I didn’t knew it till today! Today I found out that you can add multiple clocks in Vista!
Having multiple clocks, you can set up to 3 clocks each representing a different time zone, can help you figuring out the time in your selected country. This way you know in what time you can contact other bloggers, friends and off course your family who live in another country!

Yep.. It was a huge surprise for me when I saw our car covered in snow, see picture below. I mean I hadn’t watch the news the day before so I really didn’t knew about this till I opened the front door! It was a huge chaos on the road. Actually that’s nothing new, cause we’re not used to this kind of extreme weather conditions in Holland. So every time something like this happens, it’s chaos everywhere!
