If you’re a Windows Vista user then you’ve probably noticed that Windows Vista uses large icons, even in the Start menu. Some people, like me, don’t like to use large icons all the time, for example in the Start menu. Changing this setting is very easy, just follow the steps!

  • Right click on the Start button
  • Select Properties
  • Click the Customize button
  • Scroll down till you see a check box “Use large Icons”
  • Uncheck the checkbox
  • Click OK and Apply and OK.
  • You’re done! This looks much better, isn’t it?

Thanks for the quick tip. Super easy, and yes, it does look alot better that way. Somehow it gives off a feel of being more efficient and less cluttered with the smaller icons.
