When I write a post about a free software (freeware) I always like to include a screenshot of that program. Just to give everyone an idea on how it looks.
I’m used to make a screen shot of my whole desktop, editing it (as in cropping) in Photoshop and then include it in my post. The problem with editing the screenshot in Photoshop is that the rounded corners are not transparent and the background image can be seen through the window’s title and borders.
So I was really happy when I heard about 7Capture.
7Captue is a free software designed to make high quality screen captures easily! The best part of this is that 7Capture automatically handles the transparency problems as we know then in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Yeah, so with rounded corners and even with Aero’s semi-transparent windows backgrounds!
This sounded good and I wanted to test it out.. So I just installed it on my pc and made the screen capture which you can find here below:

As you can see: Perfect rounded corners and with Aero’s semi-transparent windows backgrounds in png format. This makes things much easier for me! Don’t you agree?!
So if you would like to make high quality screen captures, then you really to give 7Capture a try!

Nice share!! It is fun to tinker with free software.
Also these screen capture apps save me tons of time because I love taking shots of articles for archive.
Thanks!
