Taking Some Steps Back…

The last couple of weeks months Jannie and me took some steps back as we really needed to relax. We have put a way some of our “projects” such as buying a house and decorating it a side. Or at least this year… For me this also meant that I didn’t feel like going to the gym that often as I wanted to… However this doesn’t mean that we don’t do fun things any more.. For example we drove to CentrO in Oberhausen, we went to a Christmas Fair in Valkenburg’s underground caves and had some fun in the snow! The reason for taking steps back and relax is the shitty situation we’re facing at this moment.
Shitty Situation:
For a long time I didn’t knew if I should post this, but what the hell… Jannie and me are going to some ruff times (not between the two of us) but certain things didn’t go as we wanted / thought it should go and now we’re facing a shitty situation. Our patient, body & mind are being tested to the extreme! The problem is that Jannie and me can’t get pregnant in a normal way. So this means a lot of stress and has it’s effects on our lives, work and actually pretty much everything. In the last couple of months we have been in and out the hospital to do tests and see what’s possible.
You know what they say; In ruff time you get to know your real friends and family? Well, that’s right.. So thanks a lot to everyone who has supported us in this hard times and to the rest of you; Go fuck yourselves!
Anyway… That’s also one of the reasons that we feel that it’s time to “escape” the reality and go on holiday.
Dominican Republic:
Yep, in about 4 weeks Jannie and me are going on holiday in Dominican Republic. This way we hope we can have some time for ourselfs, let go off the reality for a couple of days and have our batteries charged again! Off course the pictures will be posted in the Gallery as soon as we come back.
In the mean time my iPod Nano is filled with some good noises so I think I’m going to hit the gym again and work out a bit and release some stress…
Sorry to hear of your situation. I hope it can resolve itself soon or if not that maybe IVF is possible.

I still think of you and this problem. The procedures are mostly awful for the female, not that that is good news for Janie, but IVF has come a long way since it began. It began in Australia. I know the doctor who got it going. There is now quite a bit of success with it and it doesn’t mean you end up with quadruplets. So good luck and don’t be too pessimistic for Janie’s sake. It will happen, but maybe not succeed the first time. YOu have many years ahead of you for it to work so much luck from down here in Melbourne! You will love the child no matter how it is conceived.
