Looking Back @2010

Let me start by welcoming you into yet another new year: 2011! This means that 2010 is over and gone forever.
I don’t know about you but when a new year has started I always look back at the past year just to “rewind & replay” the whole year again. Yep, just to see what you have done and what happened during that year. When looking back at 2010, these are the most important things which happened in our lives;
- We went to Disneyland Paris by car and had a fabulous time again.
- Crazy times for me at work with high work load.
- Stressful times for Jannie as she graduated as a Bachelor of Human Resource Management.
- Searching for a job; While graduating Jannie started to look for a job and after a while she found one as consultant at ManPower Eindhoven. She still works there, loves her job and passed for her education at work last week.
- I started to work out and a couple of months later I lost 12kg and still counting!!
- I got a car accident just a couple of days before our vacation to Sweden.
- When our car was fixed Jannie’s mom got a heart attack followed by another one a week later. With this she needed to have a bypass surgery immediately. Therefore we canceled our vacation to Sweden and took care of her instead.
- Jannie and me celebrated our one year anniversary.
- Some day trips to several places; Bruggen & Blankenbergen, CentrO in Oberhausen, Den Haag & Scheveningen, Ardenen Belgium and Efteling.
- Again some stressful time for both Jannie and me with a lot of bad news…
- After a lot of bad news finally got some good news; I got an indefinite contract at work! So now they’re stuck with me!
- However after this good news we also got some f*cked up news (as if we didn’t went enough through shit)… This last thing which actually “broke” us in a certain way and made us take some steps back which we still do.
So when I look at 2010 I have a mixed feeling but mainly I really hate 2010 and I’m really happy it’s over! This is definitely one of the roughest years in my life and unfortunately 2011 will not be any better as I know that 2011 will be yet another rough year as we have to go through a lot of procedures and stuff to see if we can pregnant… So….
With this being said; I really, truly hope that 2011 will do us some good and will not be that hard on us but I doubt it…. In the mean time we will try and coupe with it.. At this time we’re looking forward to our holiday to Dominic Republic which we’ll go to in less then 10 days! 
You don’t go to Paris for Disneyworld!
Congrats on the 12kg and keep up the good work. Just avoid making it part of any new years resolution which most people start off on the wrong food and make it a cycle of failures.
