You must have noticed Google’s Instant when searching on Google. This is a new search enhancement which shows you the results as you time. By doing this you will save some seconds with each search and it also enables you to “scan” through the results for the right answer.
A couple of months ago I tested Chrome (Sorry Google, nice try but I’ll stick to Firefox!) and the only option which I liked was Chrome’s instant search. Anyway… Google Chrome’s instant search is a feature which shows search results as you type in the smart bar (address bar) in real-time. So all you needed to do is go to the address bar and start typing! However as much as I prefer love Firefox I kinda missed this option in Firefox, till I found InstantFirefox!

How it works?
With InstantFirefox you can achieve the same result but now in our favorite browser. All you need to do is download the plugin, install, restart Firefox and you’re good to go! From now on you just have to type in Firefox address bar instead of going to Google’s homepage or Google’s Search Bar in Firefox.
Configurations?
For those who love to configure their software, InstantFirefox offers you to configure the way of searching. For example typing w Firefox will search for Firefox on Wikipedia. This feature is called “Keyword Helpers” and you can add as much Keyword Helpers as you want to.
Still not convinced?! Then watch this video which will show you how this add-on works!
