New Header Design For BioTecK.net!

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about the web and website, it’s that there is no such thing as a finished website. The web is like a “living” organism and is constantly changing and evolving. As long as the web changes, so will the websites change. Now when keeping that in mind you’ll see that it’s impossible to succeed with a website that stands still!

For quite some time I wanted to perform some changes on BioTecK.net; Adjusting the css and some other parts for a more user-friendly feeling, change font settings, and last but not least, changing the header design. However I had to postpone them each time as I didn’t had any time for it. So yesterday night when I couldn’t sleep I started to work on it and finally made the changes.

Some of the changes wouldn’t be visible for you, but it should made the site load a bit faster. Other changes will be visible for you such as the bigger font size and my brand new “About The Author” box which you can find just below each post, like the one here below. But the biggest change you’ll see is the header!

After having a very cluttered header image -don’t even know how I came up with that design anyway- I came up with a very cool clean and simple header design which you can see here above. What do you think about the new header design??

Now I’ve checked off some of the items out of my 2 do (website)list, I can start thinking about the next steps on how to improve BioTecK.net.
