The context menu or perhaps better known as the Right Click Menu, is the menu which appear when you right click on the desktop, file or a folder. This is meant to make your life easier.. That is if the context menu isn’t too long or cluttered!
As you know a lot of programs like to put their command items in this menu. While this can be very useful, it can make your context menu cluttered. Something which I really hate!
So that’s why I always wanted to delete the entries of the items which I didn’t use that often -or perhaps not at all- from the context menu. I used to do this by searching and finding my ways (often helped by Google’s search results) through the registry and deleting their registry keys. However since a couple of months I found a much easier way: FileMenu Tools.

With FileMenu Tools you get to customize the context menu easily without touching Windows Registry! With this little tool you can customize the context menu items to your needs. You can delete disable entries such as Microsoft Security Essentials item or the Adobe Acrobat Reader items. Beside this great function you can use FileMenu Tools for:
- Adding some built-in utilities that perform operations on files and folders.
- Adding customized commands which run external applications, copy/move to a specific folder or delete specific file types.
- Configure the “Send to…” submenu.
So this is your chance to customize the context menu items to your need!

Great!! Thanks a lot for sharing the link!
I just installed it and busy configuring it… However how do I get to display the “new” reply in the email?
Thanks!! =)
did u receive the setting file that I sent u?
Yeah!! Big thanks for it! I just went through the file and from what I can see we’re using the same configuration…
However I do think that I might “miss” some functions in my theme as I’ve edited the files myself in order to get the threaded comments… Will look into that later…
Thanks again!
You are welcome and hope you would find it
