For a long time I was looking for a free DVD/Multimedia player, one which was able to play the most media types such as DivX, Avi, Wmv, MPEG-1 etc.
In the past I’ve been using PowerDVD but I didn’t like it anymore. It began to frustrate me cause it took some time before it could start, it uses a lot of RAM (I have 3GB RAM installed but even with 3GB installed it freezes from time to time!). So as you can see, it was time for another software. One which could do the same and one which was… Continue reading here »»

  3. Turn the UAC on

The first and third option speak for them selfs but what about switching UAC to the quite mode? This options does not turn off UAC.… Continue reading here »»

Imagine this: you’re searching for some information on Google. As you know Google also shows PDF documents in the search results and you click on one of those links. This means that your browser automatically will open the pdf file. Personally I don’t like that. I want to be prompted before the browser opens the pdf file and having the choice to open the pdf file or download the file.

Well, if you would like to be prompted before FireFox opens a pdf file then you really should use PDF Download, a great add-on for your FireFox.… Continue reading here »»

Some time ago when I had my doubt about switching my OS from XP to Vista, I wrote a post called :To Vista Or Not To Vista. Axioblogger from Axioblog left me a message and he told me this:

“Vista is cool. I like it well maybe I don’t use a lot of programs just the basic programs. The only thing is that vista uses a lot of battery power if you are using it on a laptop.”

Well, as I don’t have Vista running on my laptop so this wasn’t an issue for me.… Continue reading here »»
