I love the sunny days.. Just like today’s weather! Today Jannie and me decided to drive around on our scooter and enjoy the sun… You see the thing is that the sun doesn’t shine that often in Holland and when it does you have to take advantage of it!
After buying some stuff for our house and grocery shopping we decided to drive to Postel, Belgium. Fortuantly Belgium isn’t that far from Eindhoven and it only takes you something like 45 minutes (with scooter!) to get there! In case you didn’t know, I live in Holland and Holland it’s a pretty small country. It’s so small that you can go anywhere with the train or just with the scooter! For example: It takes something about 1.30 hour to get in Amsterdam by train!
So anyway, we drove to Postel, but somewhere on our route, I didn’t pay attention and drove into the wrong direction! Ok, We weren’t lost cause I knew exactly where we were but we had to make a HUGE detour to get to Postel. So a tour of 45 minutes became a tour of almost 2 hours!
Ok.. It wasn’t that bad cause the weather was just beautiful but then again, it was a bit silly of me cause Jannie had warned me about that already!!
So finally we arrived in Postel and as we were hungry we got ourself some nice Belgium fries with Belgium Mayonnaise (that’s very very delicious!!).
Yes, A very big ice cream for Jannie.. Me? I don’t do ice creams!
So after a while we decided to go back home and this time I followed the right route! Anyway, even with the HUGE detour we loved the day and look forward to have more of those!
Until last year I never wanted to have a pet but Jannie, which always had pets in her life, wanted to have a cat. So after a while she convinced me to buy a kitten. In the beginning I was afraid that the kitten would destroy everything such as our furniture! But it never happened!
These days I love Gizmo! It’s a very funny and sweet cat! He can do a lot of crazy things! He can “speak” to you (he always says Hello!), he likes to play with a ball made of aluminium foil and much more… But he’s also very lazy and like most of the cats he likes to sleep a lot. So yesterday when I entred the room I saw him sleeping with his cuddle and that looked pretty sweet!
Sometimes he likes to get a lot of attention and he acts like a “photo model”.. Like the picture below…
So here I’m a person who didn’t wanted to have any pets in the house and now I can’t wait to get a puppy!
Since some days I noticed that when there are multiple posts published on the SAME DAY, the date only displays the date for the first post! I didn’t like this and soon I became aware that I was using this code inside my WordPress loop: <?php the_date('','',''); ?>
I wanted to display the date for all of my posts, even when they are published on the same day! If you don’t like this like me, you can change this by replacing the date tag with: <?php the_time('l F j Y'); ?>
This way every post will be displaying the date, exactly what I wanted!
I’ve taken a couple of free days off work and I’m intend to relax a bit but also do something around the house which I hadn’t had any chance to do before!
Today is just one of those days and we wanted to clean up our garden. Our garden wasn’t a garden anymore, but a forest! The weeds were growing every where and we just had to do something about that!
So after a time spending on the garden; cutting the grass, pulling the weeds out and cleaning the garden it looks very neat and like this:
All that’s left is our front garden, but we’ll do that Thursday! Right now I’m going to make my self ready in order to going out to diner with Jannie!
Yes! After a long time it seems that spring has finally arrived in The Netherlands! For a time I thought that spring has forgotten all about us or maybe it was lost somewhere cause we have had a crazy weather and almost a month ago it even began to snow! So.. it was pretty weird! Anyway.. This weekend was a great weekend! The sun was shining and it was 23/24 Celsius! A great opportunity to do something fun in the sun… So we decided to go to a zoo in a city near Eindhoven called Nuenen. The zoo called “Dierenrijk Europa” is just 30 minutes away with the scooter from our home.
The zoo was actually pretty small but they did have a lot of animals! Because it was Sunday and the schools are off for two weeks it was crowded, but that didn’t bothered us at all! So we started to make a tour around the zoo and we saw a lot of cool animals like the wild cats, tigers, wolfs, ice beers and many more! We found that this zoo had more animals than Safaripark Beekse Bergen which is much bigger. We had a great time watching those animals!
After a tour through the zoo we ordered something to drink in order to leave the zoo! When we left the zoo we went driving around on our scooter and we saw that a shopping mall somewhere in North-Eindhoven was open so we shopped a bit, eat something and we left!
Again, we drove around a bit and then came home for a small nap. We ended the day by a nice BBQ at my mothers place which was delicious!
Damn I love the sunny Sundays and the BBQ’s!
With over 30 million dollars in the pockets of the ex-employees of Google and IBM, the founders of Cuill are going into battle with Google! So there might be a life after Google!
Anyway, I just heard about this today and I found it interesting and a Google search gave me the next results:
Cuill is a stealth search engine startup which claims that it can index web pages significantly faster and cheaper than Google. Cuill has told potential investors that their indexing costs will be 1/10th of Google’s, based on new search architectures and relevance methods.
Another rumour circulating is that Google already took a shot at acquiring the company with a very healthy offer, showing that they take this potential threat seriously. And the company may have enticed at least one other senior search scientist from Google to join them recently.
The fact that Google has interest in Cuill can mean that Google might feel a bit hostile and sees Cuill as a threat!
Anyway, I’m very curious about this new search engine which says that it can compete with Google, but let’s wait and see before we speculate!
In case you want to get rid of an user account in XP like Jenny from multifarious mushrooms wanted, because the other user got its own computer or anyother reason, you can follow the next steps and delete the user account.
Go to Start
Control panel
Click on the User Accounts icon
Click on the account that you want todelete
Click on Delete the account
Windows prompts you to decide if you want Windows to save some of the user’s files and settings. If you want Windows to keep the files, click Keep Files. Otherwise, select Delete Files
Windows prompts you to ensure you want to delete the account. Click Delete Account to permanently delete the account.
And that’s it! It;s easy when you know how to do it!

How it works?? Just surf on the web like you always do with FireFox and when DownloadHelper detects a video or sound file, the icon gets animated and a menu allows you to download files by just clicking on an item!
For instance, Surf to a YouTube page and you’ll see that you’re able to download the video’s to your computer! This also works for a lot of other sites!
