Some months ago while I was searching for the right CSS menu for my blog I came across List-O-Matic. List-O-Matic enables you to generate CSS-styled navigation menu’s in three very easy steps. First you have to choose how many links you want your menu to have and if you want to include title attributes in links. When you’ve make your selection you can enter the link details. After this step you can choose one of the 17 pre made designs which suits your website or blog. Don’t mind the colors of the pre made designs as you can change the colors later. When you’ve chosen your design you’ll get the codes which you need for your website or blog.
As you can see this is very easy to use and a great tool for those who want to have a nice CSS menu but don’t know how they can create there own!

The index service scans through files and folders on the XP system and records information about them in index files in order to speed out the searching speed, but do you use the search function often? Personally I don’t use it. I like to have things organized, so I have everything in it’s folder where I can find the files very easy. By disabling the index service you can gain more CPU & RAM Resources and improve the performance of your computer.
There are two methods to disable the index service in Windows XP:
Method 1: Disabling the index service on a particular hard disk drive.
- Open My Compute.
- Right click on the hard drive to disable indexing (i.e (C:) drive letter).
- Select Properties on the contextual menu.
- Click on General tab if it’s not already selected.
- Uncheck the check box for Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching option.
- Click OK, and wait for the index removal process to complete, which may take a few minutes.
- Repeat the steps for other hard drives if applicable.
Method 2: Disable the Indexing Service in Windows XP for ALL the hard disk drives at once.
- Go to Start
- Type services.msc in the run text box and hit Enter
- In the Services Window scroll down and locate Indexing Service and double click on it
- Click on Stop button to immediately stop the indexing service if the service status shows Running.
- Under the Startup Type, select Disabled to permanently disable the indexing service so that it won’t run again.
- Click OK.
And that’s it!
Note: Searching is still possible after disabling of indexing service but it will be more slowly.

I love Notepad. You can use if for a lot of things but did you knew that you can use Notepad as a simple digital diary?
To use Notepad as a digital diary, follow the next steps:
- Open the Notepad and type .LOG and press enter.
- Save the file and name it what ever you want.
- Now open the file again in Notepad. You’ll see that the current date and time is inserted automatically after the .LOG line.
- Now each time you open the file, Notepad repeat the process and the current date and time will be inserted automatically. This way all you have to do is place the cursor below the date and time tag and write in your digital diary!

Note: if you want to insert the current date and time while writing press F5.

You may have noticed a slight delay every time you open My Computer in order to browse folders. Why? This is because Windows XP automatically searches for network files and printers every time you open Windows Explorer. However there is a way to get rid of the delay:
- Open My Computer
- Click on Tools menu
- Click on Folder Options
- Click on the View tab
- Uncheck the Automatically search for network folders and printers check box
- Click Apply
- Click Ok
- Reboot your computer

Do you want to test your internet connection speed fast? In case you want to you can try Speedtest.net.
SpeedTest.net is a broadband connection analysis tool with a huge selection of geographically dispersed testing servers.
Speedtest.net measures the performance of your broadband connection. At the end of each test, you are presented with the download (the speed of data from the server to your computer) and upload (the speed of sending data from your computer to the server) bandwidth speeds. The tests are performed completely within your web browser over HTTP (just like normal web browsing).
Here below you can see my results:

I know this week it’s all about my graduation . Tuesday it was my graduation and yesterday it was time to celebrate that!
Some time ago I had invited some good friends and family to celebrate my birthday (which was actually on 26th of June) and my graduation. So when Jannie and me woke up in the morning yesterday we started to prepare everything for the party and after some hours we were finished.
The whole day we had a nice sunny day but around when the party started it started to rain. At first we sat inside the house but after a while we went outside.
Because the party was a BBQ party, I started to fire up the BBQ and putting some meat on it.. It was very delicious!
You know what’s stupid? I usually always make pictures when we go out or when we have a party and guess what I DIDN’T do yesterday! Yeah, making pictures! Why? Because I was very busy BBQ-ing and Jannie was very busy entertaining the guests and playing host.. So you have to forgive me for the fact that this post doesn’t contain pictures!
Anyway, I got a lot of nice presents and a lot of money!
I was very glad that it didn’t rain the whole evening, cause at a moment the rain stopped and the sky became clear! Lucky us!
It was a very nice evening and a party which I’ll never forget!
It was a good chance to see some friends of our again which we usually don’t see that often because of our busy schedule and life.
So it’s time for us to get dressed and head up to the theater in Eindhoven to see Fame the musical!
How was you’re weekend btw?

If you’ve left a comment on my site then you might have noticed that I use this plugin called: “CommentLuv“.
The CommentLuv Wordpress Plugin will visit the feed of the comment author and attempt to scrape the last post they made and display it under their comment, this way you can encourage people to join in the discussion of your posts and give something back straight away.
With this pluging I like to encourage people to comment, joining in the discussions of my post and giving something back to the commentator straight away.
What benefits does this have for you, as a commentator?
- Increased Traffic / Readership:
You can increase your traffic and readership of your blog. Why? As people visit and read through the comments, they can see the titles of each person’s latest post. So If you’ve a great post titles, you WILL get traffic from this source and don’t forget that some of this traffic will convert to regular readers if people like your the stuff you write about.
- Benefits To PageRank
If the blog you leave a comment behind is a Do Follow blog, (like mine!) it will send you visitors your way but it will also pass you a little bit of PageRank.
For maximum exposure and benefit when commenting on CommentLuv enabled posts you should turn off FeedBurner redirect in RSS feeds.
Anyway, As I didn’t like the original CommentLuv badge I wanted to make my own. Jep, like the You Comment I Follow badge. Anyway, this is what I came up with. Cool isn’t it??
